Publishing House

The Publishing House of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics has been operating since 1972. Over the years, it has published thousands of textbooks, methodological manuals and guidelines, curricula, monographs, and collected works, making them available to faculty members and students. In recent years, the Publishing House has produced approximately 2,400 different types of printed materials, including textbooks, teaching aids, methodological guidelines and manuals, course syllabi, monographs, conference proceedings, and official forms.

The responsibilities of the Publishing House include the publication of scientific and educational materials; organizing the publication of books in accordance with UNEC curricula; editing, designing, and printing UNEC’s official academic journals; compiling and publishing materials from scientific conferences; preparing brochures, booklets, posters, and other printed materials related to projects and public events; and providing scientific, technical, linguistic editing and proofreading of submitted materials, among other functions.

As a result of a large-scale modernization carried out at the UNEC Publishing House in 2022, its technical infrastructure was fully upgraded, marking a transition to a new level of quality. With the acquisition of state-of-the-art printing equipment based on the latest technologies, the publishing house continues its operations as a Digital Printing Center.

Thanks to next-generation digital printing machines that offer near-offset quality, along with professional cutting, binding, lamination, and post-press technologies, the publishing house produces textbooks, academic publications, methodological materials, as well as promotional and corporate products with high precision and efficiency. 

The technical capabilities of the publishing house allow all printing processes to be carried out in one location, including high-speed full-color and monochrome printing, thermal binding, thread stitching, hard cover production, UV printing, folding, creasing, and perforation. Specialized equipment designed for hard cover book production ensures both the aesthetic appeal and long-term durability of the products.
