The Internal Audit Department performs oversight functions to ensure that the university’s activities are carried out efficiently, transparently, and in compliance with legislation.
The Internal Audit Department was established by a decision of the Academic Council dated April 29, 2014. The purpose of the Department is to ensure a unified approach to the implementation of internal audit and control measures; to identify the conditions and causes of deficiencies detected in various areas of activity within the university’s structures, as well as existing legal and practical problems;
to submit relevant proposals for their elimination and for the application of best practices; to provide operational and methodological assistance; and to promptly verify the accuracy of information received from identifiable sources regarding deficiencies in the activities of the university’s structural units and individual employees, and to take appropriate measures based on the results.
Areas of Activity of the Department:
1. Ensuring the timely and proper implementation of instructions of the university management, as well as organizational and administrative documents stipulated by legislation.
2. Verifying the accuracy and reliability of financial accounts.
3. Conducting special investigations based on instructions from the management.

4. Forming and improving the regulatory and methodological framework that regulates the Department’s activities and the control system it applies.
5. Conducting monitoring activities within the university’s structural units in order to ensure the execution of tasks assigned to the Department.
