The Bloomberg Laboratory was established in accordance with Decision No. 182 of the Academic Council of UNEC dated February 14, 2022. The laboratory operates under the Lifelong Learning Center of UNEC.For the first time in the Caucasus region, Bloomberg made its terminals accessible to the students and staff of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) within the framework of cooperation with the university. The UNEC Bloomberg Laboratory is the first and only laboratory in the region and consists of 12 terminals.
UNEC students and staff can obtain the international Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certificate free of charge at the laboratory. To date, more than 200 UNEC students and staff members have participated in the laboratory’s training sessions free of charge and earned an international certificate. In addition, numerous training sessions are organized for representatives of the public and private sectors.
