PURPOSE. Training in understanding the operating principles and procedures of the following equipment: single-phase transformer; DC electric motor; shunt (parallel-excited) DC generator; separately excited DC motor; three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor; slip-ring (phase-rotor) induction motor; synchronous generator; synchronous motor; single-phase half-wave and full-wave rectifiers; single-phase controlled and uncontrolled bridge circuits; separately excited DC motor; and thyristor converter–DC motor (TC–DCM) system.
The laboratory also conducts practical classes focused on studying their physical characteristics (teaching and training).
