The Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences has been operating under the Faculty of Engineering since 19 October 2020. The department is supported by 11 teaching and methodological laboratories equipped with modern instruments and facilities.
Research projects funded through state allocations are conducted across various fields. Scientific results obtained by department
staff have been published in numerous international and national
journals, including impact-factor international journals.
Faculty members have also regularly presented their research at international and national conferences.
Career Opportunities. Graduates of these programs have excellent career prospects as engineers, software and hardware designers, technical supervisors, and sales representatives. Owing to their advanced technical skills, as well as their ability to understand and analyze problems and report results, graduates can pursue successful careers not only in Azerbaijan but also abroad, across various sectors of industry and agriculture, in leading public and private organizations.
