Career Center

At UNEC, we provide comprehensive career support for students and graduates, including job search assistance, career counseling, and internship programs.

The UNEC Career Center was established on 26 November 2008. Within the scope of its mandate, the Center supports students and graduates at all levels of higher education in their career development and employment pathways. The Center is a joint initiative of UNEC, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the International Labour Organization. We assist our students in achieving their personal and academic goals and provide moral and psychological support throughout their educational journey. This constitutes an essential responsibility of the university. The primary mission of the Career Center is to prepare students for professional life, support their personal development, establish close cooperation with employers, and maintain strong and sustainable ties with UNEC graduates.

The Center conducts its activities in accordance with current legislation and based on memoranda signed with public, private, and international institutions. It operates through close collaboration with UNEC’s structural units and, on behalf of the university, engages with government bodies, academic and educational institutions, the corporate sector, and other organizations for the benefit of students and graduates.

Alumni Association By Order No. 260/1/2022 dated 18 November 2022, the UNEC Alumni Association commenced its activities. Ongoing initiatives include expanding engagement between alumni and the UNEC Working Group, organizing career advisory hours with distinguished alumni, hosting the Alumni Forum and Solidarity Day, issuing Alumni Cards to honorary graduates, and advancing efforts toward the establishment of an Endowment Fund.
